Compensation: Starting salary based on experience. Event Designers typically transition to a commission plan after 1 year.

As a Senior Event Designer, you will lead the creative development and execution of sophisticated social, corporate, and experiential events. Serving as both a creative visionary and trusted client advisor, you will shape the aesthetic direction of each project while balancing design ambition, financial considerations, and production realities.

This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role for a seasoned professional who takes ownership of their work, thrives in a dynamic creative environment, and understands that exceptional design is realized through equally exceptional execution.

Lead the creative vision for high-end events, developing original concepts that reflect each client's objectives, aesthetic preferences, and desired experience.

Translate inspiration into compelling design presentations, cohesive visual narratives, and detailed creative proposals.

Demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of spatial design, florals, furnishings, lighting, textiles, color, and materials to create layered, immersive environments.

Maintain creative integrity throughout the design process, ensuring every element contributes to a cohesive and elevated final experience.

Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and production goals, contributing to Bold Design's overall revenue growth and profitability.

Develop accurate, competitive proposals and event budgets that balance creative vision, client expectations, and financial objectives.

Take ownership of event financial performance, proactively managing design costs, labor, materials, and production expenses to protect profitability.

Monitor budgets throughout the design and production process, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing solutions without compromising design integrity.

Identify opportunities to maximize event revenue through thoughtful enhancements, strategic upselling, and expanded client relationships.

Stay informed of industry trends, competitive positioning, and emerging market opportunities to strengthen Bold Design's offerings and drive business growth.

Client Relationships & Business Development

Serve as a trusted creative partner to clients, providing thoughtful guidance, design expertise, and a highly personalized experience.

Confidently present and articulate design concepts, investment considerations, and creative recommendations to discerning clientele.

Cultivate lasting relationships with clients, planners, venues, and industry partners to generate repeat business and new opportunities.

Contribute to Bold Design's continued growth and reputation within the luxury event and hospitality markets.

Collaborate closely with internal production, floral, operations, and installation teams to translate creative concepts into executable plans.

Balance artistic ambition with budgets, timelines, logistical requirements, and production capabilities without compromising the overall design intent.

Provide creative leadership and on-site oversight during event installation, ensuring the final environment meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Navigate complex projects and evolving client needs with sound judgment, adaptability, and professionalism.
