Senior Interior Designer (Atlanta, FL)

Our Atlanta office serves as a core regional hub for architecture, engineering, and interior design. Responsibilities- Serve as primary contact with clients, consultants, and public agencies.
- Provide leadership in project design.
- Conduct client interviews and consolidate information into Program Documents.
- Initiate preparation of Equipment Lists gathering electrical, plumbing, and HVAC requirements.
- Prepare Schematics, Block & Stacking Plans, Space Plans, and complete Construction Documents.
- Implement design concepts during construction documents and administration.
- Ensure ADA and Life Safety code compliance and coordinate with architects of record.
- Prepare reports, specifications, and presentations.
- Coordinate all project discipline drawings and specifications, establish outside consultants.
- Produce final drawings using CAD/CADD operations.
- Participate in construction site visits, reviews, and construction administration duties.
- Review and monitor quality of submittals and project schedules/budgets.
- Assist client in furniture selection, procurement, and punch list closure.
- Follow up with clients after occupancy to confirm satisfaction.
- Provide leadership in new business development.
- Participate in marketing efforts and client presentations.
- Engage in strategic planning and maintain client relationships to generate new revenue.
- Represent Interiors group on boards or committees.
- Participate as active member in professional trade organizations.
- Support HR with new employee interviews.
- Have substantial knowledge of interior design contracts and their use.
- Assist in organizing and leading contract negotiations.
- Identify scope modifications described in legal contracts and pursue additional services when needed.
- Monitor project profitability and assist in developing scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate manpower allocations and attend scheduling meetings.
- Encourage staff professional growth and promote mentoring.
- Maintain administrative and technical documents, review billing invoices and time‑sheets.
- Review employee time‑sheets and assist with billing issues.
- Attend educational workshops and participate in professional societies.

- Microsoft Excel, Word
- Adobe Photoshop (experience preferred)
- Four‑year degree in Interior Design from a CIDA‑accredited college or university.
- Minimum 8 years professional experience in Interior Design/Architecture.
- NCIDQ certified.
