Mechanical Drafter role at Expedite Technology Solutions LLC
. The primary function is drafting. Assists with determining proper corrective action to be taken with damaged or worn equipment based on the history of breakdowns and discussions with the operations team to determine the most cost effective solutions. Assists with overseeing the protection of physical assets, facility and equipment maintenance, and facility housekeeping to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient facility.

Drafts feasibility studies and assists in projects as needed by the management team.

• Draft conveyor design options using computerized drawing software (AutoCAD), computes cost estimates of design alternatives, and documents the design processes. The primary function of this position is DRAFTING.
• Assist with determining corrective action for damaged or worn equipment based on breakdown history and discussions with operations to determine the most cost effective solutions.
• Oversee the protection of physical assets, facility and equipment maintenance, and facility housekeeping to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient facility.
• Dispatch and oversee the work of outside service housekeeping vendors through physical inspections to ensure quality of work.
• Participate in environmental audits. Provide compliance training with some supervision.
• Draft feasibility studies and assist in projects as needed by the management team.

• Proficiency with Autodesk or Solid Works 2D and 3D software.
• Meticulous with the ability to distinguish between “big picture” concepts and detailed facts, while ensuring tasks are completed accurately and with appropriate level of detail to impact end goals.
• Project management experience with the ability to develop project plans and manage the project to completion utilizing Microsoft Project or Excel.
• Excellent written, oral communications, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, One Note, Teams, and Outlook).
