Job Description:

Physicians and Dentists provide clinical services to patients consistent with their training and expertise. The care of patients is the highest priority in the Well Star Health System.

Core Responsibilities and

Essential Functions:

Clinical Practice of Medicine, including:

The care of patients in Outpatient or Inpatient settings or both

The documentation of clinical care

The documentation and tasks necessary for billing and other administrative functions

Continuing Medical Education required to maintain licensure and Board Certification

Required Minimum Education:

An MD or DO Degree is required.
Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia.
Applicants must have completed the necessary Residency training for their specialty and be Certified or qualified for Certification by their respective specialty Board.

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
MD/DO Certification

Required

Minimum Experience:

Previous practice experience in a Residency Training Program is required.
Prior practice experience, in lieu of Residency Training, is preferred.

Required Minimum

Skills:

Applicants should possess skills commensurate with their specialty.
Applicants must show proof of competency for clinical skills applied for.
