DescriptionThe Division of General Gynecology & Obstetrics seeks experienced physicians committed to an academic career. The position will hold the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, commensurate with qualifications and experience. It will be based at Emory Decatur Hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities- Teaching medical students and residents.
- Participation in the Obstetric Rapid Response Team and in‑house labor and delivery call coverage.
- Inpatient and outpatient obstetrics and gynecologic surgery, providing comprehensive care to medically complex patients.
- Clinical service in Emory, The Emory Clinic, Emory University Hospitals, Grady Memorial Hospital, and affiliated sites.
- Supervising mid‑level providers at the clinical practice location.
- Academic activities including teaching instruction, supervising residents and students, delivering lectures, and attending Grand Rounds, M&M Conferences, Journal Club, division meetings, and other departmental events.
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME obstetrics and gynecology residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
- Licensure by the Georgia Composite Medical Board required prior to commencement of employment

Position tasks are required to be performed in‑person at an Emory University location; remote work is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice.
