Position Summary
The Division of Business and Economics (BE) at Morehouse College invites applications for one full time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Management. The disciplinary areas preferred are OB/HR/Leadership (secondary area: Strategy). Responsibilities will include a course load of 3/3 (for research active PhDs), and service to the BE Division.
This position contributes to the divisional vision and mission of Purpose-Driven Business, and promoting entrepreneurial, business, and economic solutions to social problems that advance Black communities and the African Diaspora. We invite applications for a full-time tenure-track position starting in the Fall semester of 2026
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to be an active researcher in the Academy.
Successful candidates should conduct research and submit for academic conferences and journals.
Preferred Qualifications
Have a research-based Ph.D. degree in Business, Management or related discipline from a full-time, AACSB
-accredited institution.
Preferred Education/Experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Applicants must be able to qualify as a scholarly academic in entrepreneurship.
· Applicants from non- AACSB accredited institutions will not be eligible for the position.

· Teach classes and perform duties as assigned by department chair or leadership.
· Regularly engage in scholarship to maintain academic qualifications.
· Perform divisional, college and professional service.
· Engage with students in the classroom and in co-curricular environments.
· Assist in developing department and divisional programs and initiatives.
· Support the co-curricular activities of the management department which may include case competitions, Spring Symposium, assist in planning and hosting management student group events, and other events at Morehouse College.
