The world of business is changing and expanding in new and exciting ways. At Perimeter College, Business Administration students develop specialized skills in business fields and improve their ability to communicate, think independently and thrive in the workplace. The department serves 2600 Business pathway students and is comprised of 25 full-time faculty members and 21 part-time instructors. The department is home to the Economics, Computer Information Systems, and Accounting disciplines as well as the popular BUSA:
Business, Values, and You introductory course. The Business Administration program emphasizes preparation for decision making in a business environment. Perimeter College faculty members have practical experience in a variety of industries. By drawing upon this experience in the classroom, they provide students with real-world examples to complement business theories. A student who gains an Associate of Science degree by enrolling in the academic pathway in Business Administration lays the foundation for a business career and provides an excellent jump-start for a bachelor's degree.

With the core knowledge gained at Perimeter College, students can continue specialized studies at a four-year institution, enter the workplace as a skilled employee or express their entrepreneurial spirit by starting a business.
