Lecturer of Accounting

Business and Health Professions, Perimeter College, College-wide

Full‑time, Non‑tenure Tracked, Academic Year (August – May)

• Provide 36 semester instructional hours per academic year in accounting and related courses.
• Maintain a campus presence and conduct weekly office hours.
• Provide student support and academic coaching.
• Work professionally with students, faculty, and staff.

Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline, with at least 18 semester hours of graduate coursework (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching field.

• Ph.D. in Accounting or related field.
• Collegiate teaching experience of at least one year, including teaching assistantships.
• Experience teaching online or blended courses.
• Demonstrated interest in high‑impact educational practices and scholarship of teaching and learning.
• CPA certification preferred.

• Effective teaching methods across in‑person, online, and hybrid modalities.
• Proficiency with instructional technology.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to create a sense of belonging and support a diverse student body.
• Collaboration with colleagues to meet discipline and college goals.

$44,581 – $54,731 per year, depending on qualifications.
