Georgia State offers associate degrees at Perimeter College at five campuses (Alpharetta, Clarkston, Decatur, Dunwoody, Newton) and Online. Perimeter College educates over 18,000 students. These students are supported by 700+ faculty (full-time and part-time) and 200+ staff focused on their academic success. In some of Perimeter's academic pathways- including business administration, communications, and criminal justice - students may pursue their associate degrees fully online.
Most pathways enable students to take some classes online, and hybrid courses - which allow students to experience online learning combined with face‑to‑face classroom support - are also available.
The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (ADAA) reports directly to the Dean and plays a pivotal role in providing leadership and management for the academic programs and administrative functions of Perimeter College.
