Coach, Atlanta Falcons Summer Camps:
Atlanta Falcons Summer Flag Football Camps provide a summer football experience that kids can’t get at any other summer camp. Designed for ages 5‑13, campers learn the game, celebrate Falcons traditions, and feel the magic of being part of the Atlanta Falcons family. Each day blends football joy, Pro‑Level moments, and unforgettable memories—all designed with intention. Campers build confidence, form friendships, and gain exclusive access to the energy, history, and culture of the Falcons.
Responsibilities- Lead small groups of 10‑12 campers through daily football drills, games, activities, and active play, bringing energy, creativity, and intention to every moment.
- Deliver the provided curriculum and activity plans to ensure a consistent, high‑quality camp experience, while elevating the experience through traditions, themed moments, and Falcons‑inspired touchpoints.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where campers feel safe, encouraged, and excited to participate, ensuring each camper feels like part of the team.
- Motivate campers through positive energy, clear communication, and hands‑on leadership, setting a tone that is fun, focused, and authentically Falcons.
- Build strong, authentic relationships with campers by supporting their confidence, developing their love for the game, and fostering a sense of belonging and community throughout the camp week.
- Uphold all camp safety, supervision, and behavioral expectations throughout the day.
- Work collaboratively with fellow coaches and site leadership to support daily camp flow and create unforgettable, premium camp moments.
- Assist with transitions, group movement, arrival and dismissal, and daily camp operations, proactively stepping in where needed to keep camp running smoothly and safely.
- Represent the Atlanta Falcons and Headfirst with professionalism, enthusiasm, and pride, bringing the Falcons experience to life for campers and families.
- Enjoy working with children and bringing positive energy, patience, and care to group settings.
- Passionate about football and excited to share it with campers in a way that builds confidence and joy.
- Comfortable leading and supervising a small group of campers throughout the day.
- Reliable, coachable, and open to learning through training, feedback, and collaboration.
- Safety‑minded, adaptable, and calm in active, fast‑paced environments.
- Dedicated to the camp’s mission, program quality, and a supportive team environment for the full camp season.
- Able to remain upright and standing for multiple hours at a time, walk and/or run quickly around large outdoor grass and dirt‑covered fields, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sports equipment.
- Committed to adhering to and enforcing the camp’s Cell‑Phone Free policy, powering down and putting away cell phones for the duration of your shift.
- Work in football, being active and outdoors all summer in the Atlanta area.
- No previous coaching experience required, but a passion for football and working with children is essential.
- Comfortable with a physically demanding role that involves standing, walking, running, and lifting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with campers, families, and teammates.
- Ability to adapt instruction to a range of ages and skill levels (5‑13).
- Commitment to uphold all safety and behavioral policies, including the Cell‑Phone Free and nut‑free environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from camp sites each day.
- Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 7:45 am‑3:30 pm. - Time commitment includes pre‑camp training and all weeks of programming.
- Compensation: $13 per hour.
- Optional extended employment opportunities for Quarterback, Running Back / Wide Receiver small‑group lessons:
Monday‑Friday 3:15‑4:00 pm (paid $30 per lesson).
- Campers and staff of all backgrounds and gender identities are welcome at camp.
- Phone‑free and nut‑free working environment.
