Girls Link Up - 2024 - Program Facilitator
Summary:
3D Girls, Inc. seeks passionate and dedicated program facilitators to join our team as Girls Link Up program facilitators! We offer a safe space for middle school girls to explore critical life skills, build confidence, and engage with positive role models.
Multi-Disciplinary Skills:
This role requires a blend of skills to effectively guide and empower young girls. Here's what you'll bring to the table:
- Curriculum Development & Delivery: Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with our curriculum focusing on:
- Self-management & social-emotional learning (SEL)
- Relationship building & positive communication
- Responsible decision-making & conflict resolution
- Goal setting & resilience building
- Mental health promotion
- STEM career exploration (STEAM)
- Facilitation & Group Management: Create a dynamic and inclusive environment, fostering active participation and open dialogue among students.
- Communication & Collaboration: Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with students, families, and fellow facilitators.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: Be prepared to adjust plans and activities based on individual and group needs.
- Creativity & Resourcefulness: Develop innovative and engaging activities using readily available materials.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Serve as a positive role model and provide individual and group support.
Program Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver detailed lesson plans in an after-school program setting (Monday - Friday from September 2024 - June 2025).
- Secure necessary materials and equipment for planned activities.
- Actively participate in weekly team meetings, contributing to program success.
- Communicate effectively with students and families, both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in education, counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Two to four years of experience facilitating programs for middle school students.
- Strong understanding of child development and adolescent social-emotional needs.
- Experience creating and delivering engaging curriculum.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule:
- Full-time and part-time positions available (20-40 hours/week).
- Monday-Friday (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM) hybrid schedule; schedule may vary for outreach initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits:

Basic Qualifications:
- Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, downloading photos).
