Essential Functions:

• Serves as liaison between educators and Academic Skill Center Tutors.
• Plans and facilitates meetings with ASC tutors as needed to solve challenges, communicate information, and build positive relationships.
• Collaborates with Principal and other educators to discuss student progress and resources.
• Provides tutoring support to small groups of students assigned to the Academic Skills Centers.
• Ensures tutors are supervised in interactions with students.
• Assists students in setting individual goals and monitors progress.
• Facilitates communication and collaboration between educators, tutors, and families.
• Guides students through appropriate learning activities and supports.
• Monitors student behavior to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Models dialogue, turn-taking, listening skills, kindness, empathy, and appropriate social behavior.
• Attends and leads meetings as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of college coursework with a grade of C or higher from an accredited institution.
