The Grade 6 Math Lead Teacher ensures scholars master key math standards through rigorous instruction, small-group support, and strong relationships that prepare students for advanced coursework.

As The Grade 6 Math Lead Teacher, You Will

• Teach standards-aligned math lessons daily using the LEAP curriculum
• Use data to plan small groups and interventions
• Maintain high expectations for engagement and academic achievement
• Communicate progress to families with consistency and clarity
• Collaborate with instructional coaches and the middle grades team
• Track student data to drive instructional decisions
• Participate in professional learning and school-wide traditions
• Reinforce classroom systems for behavior and academic success

The Must Haves

Prior Experience

• Experience teaching math in upper elementary or middle school
• Strong classroom management and data-driven instruction

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Middle grades math certification preferred
