Part-Time ART Instructor

Fine Arts Department, Perimeter College (College-wide campus)

Part Time Faculty (Part-time)

Perimeter College is seeking part-time visual art instructors for the spring 2026 semester. The college is looking for instructors in two categories:

• Studio Art Instructor – Teaching foundational studio art courses (Introductory Studio, Drawing, 2D, and 3D Design) in the evenings at the Clarkston and Dunwoody campuses.
• Art History Instructor – Teaching art history courses at the college level on the Alpharetta, Dunwoody, and Newton campuses.

• Studio Art: minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 graduate quarter hours) in a studio art discipline.
• Art History: minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 graduate quarter hours) in art history.

Teaching experience preferred.

• Ability to teach Studio Art or Art History at the collegiate level.
• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate to students and facilitate student learning.
• Effective communication skills needed.
• Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.

Criminal background check required.

Position may require non-standard hours (day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend, and/or other campus locations).

$3,075.00 for each 3-semester credit hour course taught.
