With 224 schools across 20 states and Washington, D.C., KIPP currently serves nearly 100,000 scholars nationwide. In Metro Atlanta, KIPP operates nine schools, including four primary schools, four middle schools, and one high school, along with the KIPP Through College Program, which provides ongoing support to students during their educational journeys.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Atlanta, GA, for a Primary School Teacher at KIPP Atlanta Schools. The teacher will create and implement engaging lesson plans, facilitate a positive, inclusive learning environment, and support the academic and personal growth of students.

Responsibilities include tracking student progress, collaborating with families and colleagues to promote success, and fostering a classroom culture aligned with KIPP’s mission to prepare students for college and beyond.

• Proficiency in Teaching and Elementary Education practices
• Experience in Curriculum Development to craft effective and innovative lesson plans
• Strong Communication skills to engage with students, families, and fellow educators
• A background in Education, with relevant certifications or a degree in Elementary Education or a related field
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to advancing educational opportunities for underserved communities
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of students and the school community
• Experience with data-driven instruction and differentiation strategies is a plus
