Spelman College's Department of Literature, Media, and Writing invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Rhetoric and Writing Studies with a focus on African American rhetorics, digital storytelling, and multimedia content. Start Fall 2027;
PhD by August 2027 is preferred.
The appointment supports a 3-3 teaching load and the college's writing program, with emphasis on research, teaching excellence, and service to the department.
