The part-time Flight Ops Support - Pilot role provides subject matter expert support to key projects and initiatives within Delta Air Lines Flight Training & Standards. This position is designed for qualified pilots who bring operational experience and insight to support Flight Training on an “as needed" basis. The role requires a strong understanding of FAA Part 121 air carrier operations and expert-level knowledge in specific areas of flight operations and training.
This position reports to the DPS Manager of Delta Flight Training Operations.
Provide curriculum, compliance, and training support to Flight Training initiatives.
Collaborate with Flight Training support teams to complete assigned project tasks.
Offer subject matter expertise and operational insight to training development and procedural reviews.
Modify or develop new training materials based on operational needs.
Monitor project progress and report status updates to Flight Training leadership.
Review and provide feedback on standard operating procedures and training documentation.
Perform specific duties as assigned by Flight Training management.
Must be a current or former FAA Part 121 pilot with operational experience.
Strong understanding of Flight Operations infrastructure and training systems.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Proficient in Office 365 and Delta/DPS software platforms.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
