WORK LOCATION
:
Hybrid schedule; in-office 3 days per week at Peachtree Corners, GA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
:
- Design, modify, and upgrade new and existing power plant electrical systems.
- Develop single-line diagrams, relay and metering diagrams, AC and DC schematic diagrams, synchronizing diagrams, point-to-point wiring diagrams, and cable schedules.
- Produce electrical wiring drawings; review and incorporate vendor drawings into overall project design.
- Assist in field walkdowns and data gathering at client facilities.
- Badged for unescorted access to a nuclear station.
QUALIFICATIONS
:
- Associate's Degree in drafting or high school diploma with equivalent technical design experience.
- 10+ years detailed wiring design experience in single-line, relay, and metering diagrams, including medium-voltage and 480V systems.
- Familiarity with digital control systems.
- Extensive AutoCAD and/or Microstation design experience on power plants or large facility projects.
- A thorough understanding of drafting and design practices and theories.
- Excellent communication and interface skills with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Compensation Range $74,750.00 – $
