Hybrid work schedule:
In‑office 3 days per week at the Sargent & Lundy office in Peachtree Corners, GA.
- Prepare or review modification packages for operating nuclear power plants.
- Create functional mechanical drawings and/or drawings for nuclear power plant systems.
- Conduct engineering analyses and evaluations to support plant system modifications and operation.
- Develop technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment.
- Evaluate vendor bids for plant equipment.
- Perform studies and option evaluations for plant modifications.
- Develop engineering cost estimates for small to mid‑sized client‑requested scopes.
- Visit client office and/or plant sites to interface with clients and present engineering tasks and status.
- Lead engineering project teams.
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 5+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
- Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations applicable to mechanical engineering design of power plants.
- PE license preferred.
