**** How You'll Make an Impact
*** Execute production cost modeling runs and develop long-term ancillary services price projections.
* Lead and support consulting projects of high complexity.
* Model renewable energy, energy storage, hybrid resources, electric vehicles, demand response, and distributed energy resources.
* Develop energy, ancillary services, capacity, and Renewable Energy Credit (REC) price forecasts.
* Design and execute complex North American electricity market scenarios.
* Analyze and present regional power market trends.
* Enhance strategic consulting capabilities with the renewable developer community.
* Establish client contacts at senior levels and provide strategic coaching.
* Provide insights for software tool improvements and roadmaps.
* Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
** Your Background
*** Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field.
* Postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
* Relevant industry technical certifications are desirable.
* Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in energy market consulting
* Expertise in one or more Energy Portfolio Management (EPM) simulation model software products, such as:  + Production Cost Modelling (Zonal and/or Nodal)  + Integrated resource planning  + Long-term electricity price forecasting  + Capacity Expansion  + Asset Valuation  + Stochastic analysis
