Mechanical Analysis Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer to lead advanced analysis of electric motor systems. This role involves structural, thermal, vibration, and fluid dynamics simulations using FEA and CFD tools, with a strong emphasis on design optimization and validation. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure product quality through expert analysis, design feedback, and technical leadership.

Required Knowledge &

Skills:

5 or more years related work experience in electric motors and drives or similar industry a plus, but not required

Proficiency in CAD software required (Creo preferred) Experience performing design optimization studies

Experience with topology optimization a plus Previous experience instructing or performing physical testing to validate simulated analyses

Experience in bolted joint calculations a plus Experience using materials common in the aerospace industry is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work with and learn from a cross functional team Effective written and oral communication skills Ability to handle competing demands and support multiple, concurrent programs
