**** Job Overview:
** An entry-level professional in the field of Engineering. Stays in a three-year training period, including courses and participation with more senior management level supervision on different projects. Uses professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity. Reports directly to senior engineers and works closely with other engineers in all matters related to Design and Engineering. Ensures design is delivered on time and on budget, and complies with the required Quality, Health, Safety and Wellbeing and Sustainability standards and requirements.

Will either be given a project to work on or be given a small “Package” to manage from start to finish. Contributes to the achievement of tasks in accordance with Ferrovial’s policy and ensure quality on our projects is upheld.

** Seeking an MEP+ITS Design EIT to be part of the Engineering Services of Ferrovial Construction North America

* Responsibilities and Duties:

*** Perform Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and ITS engineering design tasks for Tender and Detailed Design phase of projects
* Work with both internal and external teams of experts and coordinate design activities between staff, external consultants, and clients
* Review engineering information produced by internal and external consultant teams to ensure the design meets the different technical requirements of the project
* Help ensure designs can be integrated into construction plans complying that the design is feasible for construction
* Manage work through the planning and scheduling, as well as the review and approval of tasks to meet project deadlines
* Estimate quantities of materials and develop specifications to determine project feasibility and implement design enhancements
* Identify both schedule and quantities variances and develop recommendations for corrective action
* Perform visits to the working site to oversee transport infrastructure activities
