Martin/Martin, Inc. is thrilled to offer an Externship Experience for college students this summer. This one-week program will immerse students in the daily life of civil and structural engineers. Participants will learn about Martin/Martin’s current projects, collaborate on engineering tasks with peers, learn industry software, build valuable connections, and have ample opportunities to ask questions.

Job Type: Temporary

• Completes simple engineering calculations and models
• 3D modeling
• Prepares presentations
• Site Assessments

• This position is technical in nature, working mostly inside the office completing a wide range of activities.
• Completing repetitive movement on tasks such as using a mouse or keyboard
• Remain stationary for long periods of time
• Read, communicate, and document in English
• Identify color
• Determine and exchange accurate information
• Occasionally move about outside of the office
• Occasionally move or hold objects weighing up to 25 pounds

• Currently attending college in Georgia or Alabama
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or architectural engineering
