Martin/Martin, Inc. is a full-service civil and structural consulting engineering firm, headquartered in the Denver area, built on experience and industry leadership cultivated since the 1940s. Our engineered solutions are developed through a culture of integrity, service, creativity, and quality for the benefit of our clients and the community. Our structural engineers develop customized structural systems to meet design requirements for new facilities and expansions.

Our civil teams focus on site and infrastructure design including traffic/transportation, parking, street layout/lighting, water and wastewater utilities, stormwater drainage, circulation, paving, surveying, security issues, and other site considerations. Our investigative engineers can provide support for existing projects, both buildings and sites, to design and implement repairs, renovations, or improvements. With nine office locations and a staff of more than 370, Martin/Martin engineers regularly perform work throughout Colorado, across the United States, and internationally.



Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and analysis of structural components for various projects, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.
  • Support civil engineering projects related to site development, roadways, drainage systems, and utilities.
  • Conduct field inspections and site visits to gather data and ensure project compliance with design specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop and review project plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Utilize engineering software and tools for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design calculations, drawings, and project reports.
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and solutions to engineering challenges.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the engineering team.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Completed coursework in structural analysis, mechanics, materials, and civil engineering fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP
    2000, STAAD Pro, Civil 3D).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus but not required.
