Hi 👋🏾, I’m Abhik, Ashby’s Co‑Founder and VP of Engineering. We’re looking for a great (former) engineer who built impressive products and now builds teams of great engineers. Ashby’s success and ambition mean we’re doubling the Engineering team in the next year, and we need your experience and leadership to do it thoughtfully.

Ashby All‑in‑One is powerful, easy to use, and replaces several venture‑backed companies' worth of products. We have notable customers like Notion, Linear, Shopify, and Snowflake. Our growth and retention metrics are best‑in‑class among our peers: tens of millions in ARR, >100% YoY growth, low churn, long runway.

We run Engineering by discarding many industry norms and being optimistic about Engineers. We give engineers freedom, agency to actually be exceptional, and minimal process. We focus on ownership, collaboration, and leveraging tools.

• Provide feedback on product and technical specs to help engineers cut scope or improve quality.
• Grow engineers to take large, loosely defined projects with minimal intervention.
• Jump into our systems and code to debug customer issues, ship bug fixes, or improve developer experience.
• Propose and lead department and company‑wide initiatives such as improving pull‑request reviews, interview design, or data simulation.

Your first three months at Ashby will be spent learning about Ashby Engineering and easing into leadership. You will ship product changes and features, and work closely with me and your peers.
