• Preliminary assessments and concept creation.
• Leading designs with support from peers, SMEs, and BIM designers.
• Internal and external problem resolution.
• Drawing and specification production.
• Customer and vendor accessibility.
• Designing Wireless systems in iBwave and EDX.
• Coordination with BIM designers to create drawing packages.
• Coordination with AHJs, Radio System Owners, and carriers.
• DIV 27 specification creation or modification.
• Conducting site visits.
• Reviewing technical documents.
• Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Technical or associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience actively designing wireless telecommunications systems, including LMR 2‑way radio, Public Safety DAS, and Commercial DAS, OTA, Neutral Host, DRAN.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with iBwave, EDX, Atoll, LMR Planner or other modeling programs.
• Experience working with clients to identify their wireless communications needs.
• Experience troubleshooting wireless system issues from field teams.
• Understanding of Noise Floor, SNIR, Return Loss, and VSWR.
• Experience optimizing networks in design and during installation.
• Thorough knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 1221, NFPA 1225, IFC section 510, Carrier KPIs, IBC, FCC Part 20 and Part 90, FCC OET Bulletin 65, MOTOTRBO systems, Motorola R56 installation standards, DMR Tier III.
• Familiarity with Navisworks.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Ability to respond to RFPs.
• Ability to create and maintain a project budget and schedule, identify and mitigate company risk.
• iBwave Level 2 Certification (required).

• Experience designing Wi‑Fi systems.
• EDX or Motorola design certifications.
• FCC GROL.
• NICET Design Certification.
• Multiple OEM product certifications.
• Electrical Engineering or Communication Engineering degree.
• EIT or PE.
