Are you ready to be challenged, make a difference, and experience professional growth? Kleinfelder’s Design team seeks a detail‑oriented engineer to join our southeast engineering team.

• Complete civil engineering designs and generate professional plans and specifications for Site Layout, Grading, Storm Drainage, Water & Sewer Utilities, Erosion and Sediment Control, Storm Water Best Management Practices, Civil 3D plans, municipal and state permitting.
• Evaluate design to solve constructability, municipal code, and site challenges.
• Coordinate with Architects, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineers.
• Perform site visits for job scoping and coordinate with survey crews, SUE, Geotech, etc.
• Provide periodic construction support: review RFIs & Shop Drawings, field inspections.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
• Preferred:
  Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and with team members.
• Ability to engage in multiple projects to complete successful requirement deliveries.
• Ability to organize priorities and multi‑task effectively.
• Pro‑actively troubleshoot and problem‑solve with practical, client‑focused solutions.
• Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals.
• 3–8+ years of related experience in civil engineering.
• Computer skills preferred:
  AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydro
  
  CAD, Water
  
  CAD, MS Office.
