• Utilize structural analysis software for design, such as:
  Leap Bridge Concrete, Leap Bridge Steel, Open Bridge Modeler, STAAD, SAP
  2000, etc.
• Complete design tasks with supervision and learn to work independently
• Coordinate the structural design with other disciplines and construction team
• Become familiar with various structural standards and design codes such as: AASHTO, AREMA, and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) guidelines
• Compile data and perform calculations required for the preparation of drawings and design studies
• Prepare cost estimates
• Prepare construction documents
• Collaborate with Bridge and Roadway Design Team members and all company disciplines
• Conduct bridge inspections and assist in supervision of site investigations as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 2- 4 years of experience
• OR Master’s degree in Structural Engineering with 0-2 years of experience
• EIT certification preferred
• Intern experience preferred
• Experience with GDOT projects desirable
• Experience with Micro Station and/or Open Bridge Modeler desirable
• Experience with LEAP, STAAD, SAP
  2000, or similar a plus
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
• Availability and willingness to travel
• All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
