Industry 4.0 Engineer
Arclin, Inc is currently looking for an Industry 4.0 Engineer
. This position will be part of the Arclin Corporate Engineering team based out of our headquarters in Alpharetta, GA and will report to our Director of Automation Engineering.
The successful candidate will focus on integrating advanced technologies such as Edge connectivity technologies, IIoT, control automation, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and cyber-physical systems into diverse manufacturing and business processes to enhance innovation, productivity, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for enterprise-wide digital transformation.
This role is crucial to Arclin’s Industry 4.0 transition, where our digital and physical systems converge.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement Industry 4.0 solutions, integrating advanced technologies such as Edge connectivity technologies, IIoT, control automation, unified namespace, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and cyber-physical systems such as digital twins into manufacturing and business processes to enhance productivity, operational efficiency and innovation.
- Develop and deploy data analytics platforms to monitor and visualize real-time performance, predict maintenance needs, and improve decision-making.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements using Industry 4.0 technologies to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and engineering to align Industry 4.0 initiatives with business goals.
- Implement training methods for Arclin personnel on new systems and technologies, ensuring smooth adoption and operation.
- Stay updated on emerging Industry 4.0 trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years in manufacturing, automation, or industrial engineering. At least 3 years out of total experience focused on Industry 4.0 technologies.

- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Cybersecurity
- Certification in Industry 4.0, Cybersecurity, Data analytics tools, IIoT, or related fields.
- Experience in industrial applications and manufacturing environments integration.
