Responsibilities- Perform start‑ups, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and emergency service on UPS systems and related power electronics at client sites within your assigned region
- Deliver expert‑level on‑site and remote support to customers
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain UPS systems and associated components
- Respond promptly to emergency service requests and provide effective solutions
- Aim to achieve ‘first‑time fix’ results on all service calls
- Ensure clear, accurate, and timely communication with both internal teams and clients
- Stay current with Safety Field Change Notices and updated service documentation
- Complete and submit service reports, timesheets, and expense documentation in a timely manner
- Proven experience in the field as a UPS Service Engineer or Technician
- Comfortable working in mission‑critical environments, especially data centers
- Minimum 3 years' experience with UPS systems, including component‑level troubleshooting
- Familiarity with batteries, PDUs, STS/ATS units, Branch Circuit Monitoring, and general power infrastructure
- Technical degree in Electronics or relevant Military Electronics Training preferred
- Prior military training/experience is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of Ohm’s Law and fundamental electronic theory
