The Enovis Co‑Op program is recruiting for positions for the Summer 2026 term. This program requires a commitment to multiple semesters/periods working 40 hrs/week in Atlanta, GA.

Position Details

Job Title: Product Development Co‑Op
Reports To: Sr. Manager, Product Development
Location: Atlanta, GA
Business Unit: Enovis Foot & Ankle

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Summer Co‑Op to join our Product Development team. This Co‑Op offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the fast‑paced and exciting field of medical device orthopedics. The selected candidate will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to the manufacturing and operational processes that drive the production of cutting‑edge orthopedic devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate as an active member of the New Product Development Team
    • Assist in identifying surgeon requirements and product characteristics.
    • Confer with cross‑function teams (Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Regulatory, etc.) and complete assigned tasks.
    • Assist Product Development Engineers in creating product designs.
    • Use 3‑D modeling to document designs and design changes.
    • Assist in completing the Design Dossier.
  • Participate in surgeon symposia, focus groups and KOL meetings.
  • Assist in road‑mapping projects.
  • Attend surgeries for learning purposes.
  • Perform market research to devise solutions to orthopedic/podiatric problems, including customer inquiries and analysis of existing products.
  • Maintain all documentation necessary for a Design History File (DHF).
  • Develop detail engineering drawings, CAD models and release through ECO system.
  • Work through internal prototype shop or vendor to develop prototypes.
  • Schedule and direct product team meetings as needed in absence of PD engineer; ensure timeliness of project execution.
  • Maintain existing product lines and write ECOs for general product improvement.
  • Follow instructions and pre‑established guidelines to perform the job’s functions.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
