This firm is highly respected for its work on government facilities, and mission critical projects, where reliability, safety, and performance are essential.
Engineers in this role support major government campuses with electrical systems totaling approximately 40 megawatts, manage high volume electrical documentation environments exceeding 15,000 scripts. This role is ideal for an Electrical Engineer who enjoys a blend of technical analysis, field involvement, and collaboration with design, construction, and ownership teams on large institutional projects.

- Review electrical construction documents, specifications, and submittals to understand system design intent
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, test procedures, and documentation for systems
- Perform on-site inspections and functional performance testing of power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and life safety systems
- Support commissioning efforts on large scale campuses with electrical loads up to approximately 40 MW
- Manage and support high volume electrical documentation, including coordination of 15,000 plus electrical scripts, drawings, or automated design outputs
- Identify system deficiencies, document findings, and coordinate resolution with project stakeholders
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, vendors, and owners throughout the commissioning process
- Prepare clear, professional reports and final commissioning deliverables
- Support project schedules and commissioning milestones across multiple active projects
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
- Experience with electrical systems in commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, or government facilities
- Demonstrated experience supporting large scale electrical systems or campus environments preferred
- Strong working knowledge of power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and life safety systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Detail oriented with strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities - Ability to successfully complete a government or military background check
