HDR is looking for a Project Manager with a background in the water and utility management industry to join our growing Water Business Group team in Atlanta, GA. The Project Manager will lead projects through planning, evaluation, and design and construction phases while working with current and potential clients to further our growth objectives across Georgia. Project types could include master plans, utility management related evaluations and assessments, and the design, assessment, and evaluations of water transmission pipelines, water pump stations, wastewater collection systems, wastewater pump stations, and treatment infrastructure projects.
They will be skilled in planning studies, environmental services, coordinating with subconsultants and utility owners, and performing office services during construction. They will also direct delivery and production staff and perform client management activities to support our South Atlantic Area based Water team.
- 10+ years of experience with water / wastewater projects
- Masters degree is a plus
- Georgia PE or ability to obtain
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 7 years related experience
- A minimum 2 years project management experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)
- Demonstrated leadership skills
