Responsibilities- Utilize experience to solve complex problems, ensuring compliance with industry codes and client standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including architecture, multiple engineering disciplines, PMs, and contractors.
- Lead project teams, delivering comprehensive engineering design packages to federal, state, local, commercial, industrial, and university clients.
- Provide oversight and training to junior engineers and designers.
- Support construction and commissioning, ensuring quality and accuracy; communicate with project managers and stakeholders.
- Work with the electrical team across offices to enhance internal standards, conduct load flow, short‑circuit and voltage‑drop analyses.
- 6‑10 years of electrical engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field from an ABET accredited institution.
- Registered Professional Engineer in Georgia, or ability to obtain within 3 months.
- Experience in building system design: power distribution, lighting & control, grounding & lightning protection, emergency & UPS.
- Familiarity with system modeling software (ETAP, SKM, AGI) and sustainable design practices.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and obtain security clearance.
- Prior consulting experience.
- Federal government design experience.
- LEED accreditation.
- LC certification.
- Functional knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
