Cybersecurity Engineer (Security Infrastructure & Automation Lead)

Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) | Duration: 12‑Month Contract

Overview: Design, deploy, and maintain core cybersecurity infrastructure with an emphasis on automation, tooling integration, and platform reliability across IT/OT.

• Lead deployment and optimization of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, DLP, IAM, and cloud security solutions.
• Architect automation workflows and integrations (APIs/scripts) for incident enrichment and mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800‑53/82 and TSA SD 1582/21; produce diagrams and control mappings.
• Support projects such as OT segmentation, cloud modernization, firewall redesigns, and asset discovery.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 6+ years hands‑on experience with enterprise security tooling.
• 2+ years in a lead automation/platform integration role.
• Desired certifications: CISSP, GCSA, GSEC, Azure Security.

• Experience with Splunk, Sentinel, XSOAR;
  Rapid7, Tenable, Qualys.
• Knowledge of IC/SCADA, TSA/DHS/CISA control alignment.

• Cross‑platform engineering and automation.
• Forensics fundamentals.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Primarily onsite with potential after‑hours changes/incidents. DHS Public Trust eligibility.
