THE WORKOversee risk management across multiple capital projects to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate threats and opportunities.
Develop and implement project- and portfolio-level risk management frameworks aligned with organizational objectives.
Facilitate risk identification, assessment, and mitigation workshops throughout all project phases.
Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, including advanced techniques such as Monte Carlo simulations.
Support project teams in creating and maintaining Risk Management Plans, Response Plans, and accurate risk registers using enterprise tools.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on key risks and residual impacts to cost, schedule, and quality.
Ensure compliance with corporate risk standards and integration of risk deliverables into governance, gate reviews, and funding processes.
Lead or support Independent Project Reviews, health checks, and assurance activities to enhance project performance.
Collaborate with project managers, engineering, controls teams, contractors, and stakeholders to embed risk management into execution.
Produce risk dashboards, identify trends and systemic risks, capture lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.
$80,000 - $130,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, or Washington as set forth below.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEEDBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, or related discipline
5–8 years of experience in project controls, risk management, or capital project delivery, preferably within pharmaceutical or industrial sectors
Proficiency in Monte Carlo analysis tools (e.g., Acumen, @Risk, Safran, PRA), 12C, and project management software
Strong understanding of project lifecycle risk processes, cost and schedule integration, and PMF (Project Management Framework)
Excellent facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly
Ability to interpret data, forecast risk impacts, and develop actionable insights
Collaborative, proactive, adaptable, and able to lead under uncertainty while promoting continuous improvement
Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, or related discipline
