Geotechnical Assistant Project Manager

Position: Geotechnical Assistant Staff Project Manager
Responsibilities

* Primarily involved with assisting staff with field tasks supporting geotechnical projects

* Responsibilities include clearly documenting site observations for both construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical field work performed

* Other duties may include assisting with or performing the following with limited supervision:

* Perform boring and test pit layouts

* Prepare drilling packages and obtain utility clearances

* Perform research on local geologic history

* Assist with supervision of field work performed by drilling/test pit crews and assist with rig access issues.

* Perform in-situ testing

* Classify soils

* Keep project staff informed of changing site conditions and/or additional testing requested on project sites

Qualifications

* Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required

* No experience required

* Professional license is not required in this position but is necessary to progress in career

* If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
