Entry-Level Electrical Cx Technicians

We are seeking an Electrical Cx Technician for our Atlanta, GA project site for 2-3 month support. This is an entry-level position; seeking applicants with a great attitude and a willingness to learn. As Electrical Commissioning Technician, you'll be responsible for commissioning electrical systems and devices for a facility. They work under the direction of supervisors, discipline leads, and senior technicians to meet project deadlines and safety targets.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Knowledge to assist with verification of industrial power & process plant electrical distribution and control equipment. For example:
  Switchyards, Switchgear and motor control centers, Various motors, Protective relaying and control circuits, Power & Distribution transformers, Variable frequency drives, Generators
• Knowledge to verify installation, testing, commissioning of electrical devices.
• Perform daily tasks within area of expertise utilizing safe, reliable instruction to provide required results.
• Ability to work to a project schedule and complete assigned daily work to achieve commissioning goals.
• Responsible for evaluation of all drawings and documents, including vendor documents, to assist all required assigned tasks and provide corrections as necessary to ensure all documents are updated for completeness, detail and accuracy. Coordinates with project supervision or field engineer to complete as-built drawings and documents.
• Assist with electrical checks/testing or document per industry standards and project specific requirements.
• Responsible to follow or create procedures for assigned work tasks in a safe manner utilizing required safety procedures such as LOTO, Arc Flash, Arc Blast, Shock Hazard.
• Requires the ability to assist and work with vendors to commission the vendor’s equipment as needed.
• Requires the ability to work with owner’s operation and maintenance personnel periodically without any conflicts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Associates degree in an electrical technology related curriculum or equivalent job related experience
• 1+ years of work commissioning experience, in addition to education requirements, in operational and maintenance of electrical equipment and controls discipline.
• May be required to supervise other technicians, subcontractors, or client personnel.
