Responsibilities- Utilize technical expertise to solve complex problems, ensuring compliance with industry and client standards, codes, and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including architecture, engineering disciplines, project managers, and contractors—to deliver design packages.
- Lead project teams and provide comprehensive engineering design packages to federal, state, local, commercial, industrial, and university clients.
- Support construction and commissioning activities, ensuring quality and accuracy of work and communicating effectively with project managers and clients.
- Work with the electrical team across offices to conduct load‑flow analysis, short‑circuit analysis, voltage‑drop calculations, and to enhance internal standards.
- 4–8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, architectural/electrical engineering, or electrical engineering technology from an ABET‑accredited institution.
- Registered Professional Engineer in Georgia, or ability to obtain registration through reciprocity within three months of start date.
- Experience in building‑system design, including power distribution, lighting and control systems, grounding and lightning protection, and emergency and uninterruptible power systems.
- Familiarity with system‑modeling software (e.g., ETAP, SKM, AGI) and knowledge of sustainable design practices.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Prior consulting experience.
- Federal government design experience.
- LEED accreditation.
- LC certification.
- Functional knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
