Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE)
Lead HVAC and plumbing system design for complex commercial and industrial projects. This role partners closely with operations, clients, and multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant, and cost-effective solutions.
What You’ll Do- Lead mechanical and plumbing system design from concept through construction
- Establish and manage engineering scope, budgets, and schedules
- Perform and review load calculations, energy modeling, and life-cycle analyses
- Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, electrical, and civil teams
- Prepare and review specifications, system narratives, and construction documents
- Support client relationships and participate in site visits as needed
- Mentor and oversee designers and junior engineers using Revit and related tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 10+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC and plumbing design
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Familiarity with system costs, constructability, and industry modeling tools
- Collaborative, high-performance engineering culture
