We are currently seeking a full-time Environmental Remediation Engineer to join a team of professionals in Atlanta, GA
. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients across the country.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
- P.E. required.
- Strong knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, and other environmental regulations, legislation, and SOPs.
- Plan and execute large-scale investigations of soil/groundwater contamination and vapor intrusion studies under CERCLA and RCRA.
- Compile, interpret, and present investigation data in technical reports.
- Develop evaluations and implement responses/corrective actions.
- Lead and support remedial and process engineering projects and teams to fill data gaps, design, construct, operate, and optimize systems.
- Plan and perform assessments, pilot tests, construction oversight, and remedy O&M.
- Evaluate data from aquifer tests, pilot studies, bench testing, sampling events, and modeling to develop remedial strategies.
- Prepare, review, and mentor others in the development of design basis, technology feasibility analyses and selection, and design plans, specifications, and reports.
- Communicate with regulatory personnel and permitting agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations.
- Manage projects at Superfund sites, federal facilities, military installations, and commercial/industrial properties.
- Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and long‑term projections for remediation projects.
- Provide technical assistance to teams working across multiple offices throughout the country, including problem‑solving, mentoring, leading by example, and participating in corporate technical initiatives.
