Managing Principal - Due Diligence Group Manager

Responsibilities

• Testing and consulting services for the built environment: property/facility condition assessments, facility needs assessments, pre- & post-construction surveys, and accessibility assessments, among other facilities-related services
• Requires a commitment to lead and mentor a team of facilities due diligence engineers, architects and project managers
• Oversee projects and perform technical report reviews, prepare proposals and manage the departments and group related P&L
• Exhibit responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation
• Ability to independently solve day-to-day problems on projects with limited direction or involvement from executive staff
• Review technical deliverables, invoices, and field reports
• Interact, train, and mentor junior staff members (both as a technical resource and supervisor)
• Participate/lead business development initiatives within the operating group(s)
• Assist with recruiting and maintaining an adequate staff level in your group

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Civil (Structural) Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
• 12+ years of relevant professional related experience
• Designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm required
