Job Duties:
- Perform system installation, hardware/software upgrades, service repairs, and preventive maintenance on medical device systems.
- Provide accurate service records for the Quality Management System.
- Manage work‑related travel and communicate with the Field Service Manager on a weekly basis.
- Submit business expense reports in accordance with company policy.
- Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements.
- Comply with FDA regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
- Maintain positive communications with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Associates or technical degree required (or relevant experience).
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering preferred.
- Exceptional troubleshooting ability.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Mechanical assembly skills and tool proficiency.
- Previous experience in a medical device company preferred.
- Strong organizational and follow‑up skills.
- Ability to interface with multiple groups to resolve service issues.
- Positive and optimistic attitude.
- Technical writing skills a plus.
- Works well independently and in a fast‑paced environment.

Main
Purpose:
Perform failure analysis on explanted biomedical implant products, develop investigative protocols, and identify root causes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct failure analysis on long‑term explanted biomedical implant products.
- Apply theoretical principles and analytical techniques to identify failure mechanisms.
- Meet deadlines on multiple assignments in a cross‑functional team environment.
- Lead and mentor less experienced lab staff on complex problems.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Surveillance.
- Define test equipment as required to support quality responsibilities.
- Support QMS, EMS, and regulatory requirements.
- Comply with FDA regulations and company policies.
- Maintain positive communications with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Education &
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required;
Electrical or Biomedical Engineering preferred. - Engineering work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of global medical device regulations and terminology a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Work well independently and on teams in a busy department.
- Multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Strong organizational and follow‑up skills, attention to detail.
