The Traffic Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing traffic control operations on a large-scale civil infrastructure project involving highways and express lanes in the Atlanta metropolitan area. This role focuses on the coordination, planning, and field management of traffic control activities to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and alignment with construction schedules.

Project Type: Large civil infrastructure project (highways, interstates, and express lanes)

Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee the field implementation of approved Traffic Control Plans (TCPs).
- Serve as the primary liaison between construction teams, traffic control subcontractors, field crews, and project management.
- Plan, schedule, and sequence traffic control activities in accordance with construction milestones.
- Ensure full compliance with project specifications, Georgia DOT (GDOT) standards, and MUTCD requirements.
- Monitor daily traffic control operations, identifying risks or inefficiencies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Lead coordination meetings related to lane closures, work zone logistics, and traffic phasing.
- Review and validate traffic control setups in the field to ensure safety, constructability, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to project management regarding performance, issues, and upcoming traffic control needs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in traffic control management or construction management on large civil infrastructure projects.

Skills:
Proven experience in field implementation of traffic control (not design-only roles); strong ability to interpret TCPs and construction schedules. - Knowledge: In-depth understanding of MUTCD requirements and state DOT standards.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders in the field.
- Language: English proficiency at C1 level.
- Vacation: 22 days.
- Travel: Initial and final project-related travel expenses covered.
- Accommodation: Up to two weeks of hotel accommodation provided at the start of the project, if required.
- Equipment: Company vehicle, fuel for work-related travel, laptop, and mobile phone provided.
- Health Insurance: 50% of the employee’s health insurance premium covered.
