• ANSI 3.1 Senior Radiation Protection Technician qualification or equivalent commercial nuclear experience.
• Previous Senior RP Technician, Lead RP Technician, RP Supervisor, or comparable experience.

Location: Brunswick Nuclear Station, Southport, North Carolina

Outage Date: March 27, 2027 - April 28, 2027

Pay Rate: $50 - $55 per hour

Pier diem: $115 per day, paid seven days per week

The Senior Radiation Protection Specialist is responsible for providing experienced radiation protection support, technical leadership, and field oversight for TNC Services projects within the commercial nuclear power industry.

This role supports outage, maintenance, construction, and specialty service activities by ensuring work is planned and executed in accordance with applicable radiation protection requirements, ALARA principles, customer procedures, and regulatory standards.

The Senior Radiation Protection Specialist serves as a technical resource to field personnel, project leadership, and customers and is expected to provide hands‑on support in radiological work environments while promoting a strong culture of nuclear safety, quality, accountability, and procedural compliance.

This is a field‑focused position supporting TNC Services customers throughout the United States.

The position may require significant travel during commercial nuclear outage seasons and may include extended assignments at customer facilities.

Work may be performed in radio logically controlled areas and industrial environments requiring appropriate PPE and radiological controls.
