Job Description & How to Apply Below
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
Amazon is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Mechanical Products and Services team. This essential role will support the analysis, design, coordination, and documentation of structural cooling products used to support AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience in structural steel and connection design, industrial structures, and structural analysis.
Experience with computational design, BIM coordination, and standardized structural systems is preferred.
The Structural Engineer will be responsible for developing structural calculations, design documentation, and coordinated engineering solutions for cooling systems support structures, equipment platforms, elevated structures, bracing systems, and structural connections. The role will work closely with product design engineering teams, global integration engineers, and quality engineers, to develop solutions that are safe, code-compliant, constructible, and scalable.
You will work at the intersection of structural engineering and infrastructure cooling designing the backbone that supports Amazon's world-class infrastructure.
This role offers the opportunity to impact projects at scale, with your designs being implemented across multiple facilities worldwide.
