Responsibilities

Berkley Entertainment is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This role is suitable for a highly qualified entry-level candidate with a degree in Accounting. The analyst will assist with accounting, reporting, and financial statement preparation based on US GAAP and Statutory requirements, including balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close procedures, expense analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Prepare profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
• Support the development and maintenance of the chart of accounts and general ledger.
• Create financial analyses and present findings to management.
• Analyze trends, budgets, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to forecast future revenues and expenses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Public accounting experience, CPA, or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with financial statement software, Hyperion, or other ERP systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.
• Experience with reinsurance and international insurance is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and professional attitude required.
