Job DescriptionThis role requires triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products. You will also apply and expand knowledge by completing required licenses and trainings, and will be subject to SAFE Act registration requirements.
Responsibilities- Works with clients to plan short- and long-term financial goals using brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and bank solutions.
- Recommends banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs.
- Triages client requests and refers to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
- Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities.
- Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
- Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and potential product services.
- Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses (or Series 63 & 65 in lieu of 66).
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry with comprehensive knowledge of investment products.
- Minimum one year of experience in the financial service industry or a sales environment with demonstrated goal attainment.
- Strong goal-setting and execution skills; can manage complexity and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent relationship building, communication, and client engagement abilities.
- Thorough and thoughtful in incorporating regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term strategies.
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask.
- At least three years of experience in the financial service or sales environment with proven goal attainment.
- Professional designations such as CFP or CRPC.
