FP&A Manager (Hybrid, 3X in Atlanta, GA)
Our client is a fast‑growing, PE‑backed SaaS company and they are looking to bring on a highly technical FP&A professional to lead company‑wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This is a hands‑on, standalone FP&A role that partners closely with the CFO, VP of Finance, and senior leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate is an Excel expert and strategic thinker who can produce accurate, insightful analysis in a fast‑paced, PE‑backed environment.
Note: Candidates must be based in Atlanta, GA, or within reasonable distance so that commuting 3X a week is not problematic.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the annual operating plan and recurring forecast cycles
- Maintain complex Excel‑based actuals and forecast models
- Manage company‑wide vendor and employee expense models
- Build driver‑based models, scenarios, and sensitivity analyses
- Deliver actionable insights on revenue, spend, and key metrics
- Partner with department heads to align budgets with strategic priorities
- Hold teams accountable to financial targets and KPIs
- Provide decision support for resource allocation and investment planning
- Prepare standardized reporting for senior leadership, private equity sponsors, and lenders
- Develop dashboards, monthly variance analyses, and board reporting materials
- Maintain the ARR database, including detailed tracking of bookings, retention, and expansion
- Implement best practices for data quality, forecasting, and automation
- Collaborate with executives and support the CFO on strategic initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CFA preferred
- 5+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience (SaaS strongly preferred)
- Experience in PE‑backed environments is a plus
- Expert‑level Excel skills (advanced formulas, macros, scenario modeling)
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems;
Maxio experience a plus - Strong communication skills, executive presence, and ability to influence cross‑functional leaders
