Senior Manager of FP&A
A market-leading organization is seeking a senior manager of FP&A to lead a team of financial analysts and partner with senior operational leaders to drive planning, forecasting, and performance management. This highly visible role supports enterprise financial targets and delivers insights across four major areas of the P&L, including portfolio performance, revenue, cost to maintain, and cost to own.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of senior financial analysts; drive accountability and performance.
- Own planning and forecasting for four major P&L areas: portfolio performance, revenue, cost to maintain, and cost to own.
- Partner with operational and functional executives to build KPIs, review results, and support decision-making.
- Oversee monthly P&L reporting and variance analysis; identify drivers and recommend actions to improve performance.
- Build and refine forecasting models and reporting that influence strategy and operational execution.
- Prepare and present financial materials for quarterly executive and board meetings.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, reporting efficiency, and operational execution.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices; translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of progressive FP&A, financial analysis, or business analytics experience.
- Demonstrated success leading financial operations tied to large, multi-business or multi-asset portfolios.
- Strong forecasting, modeling, and performance management expertise.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and operate as a trusted business partner.
- Experience presenting insights to C-suite leadership and/or boards.
- Advanced Excel skills;
Power BI or similar tools strongly preferred. - SQL proficiency for querying and analyzing large datasets.
- MBA or CPA.
- Experience with One Stream or similar FP&A platforms.
- Background in real estate, property management, or similarly asset-intensive industries.
- Experience in high-growth, fast-moving organizations.
